The American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry recommends that parents take their child to see the dentist the by the child’s first birthday. What a great present to give someone – the education needed to create a healthy smile and maintain beautiful teeth for a lifetime!

The “Not a Lot of Waiting” Room
When you first arrive, you will be greeted by our friendly staff and then it is time to play! We have books, blocks, puzzles, movies and plenty of other toys to keep you busy. Enjoy – you will see the doc real soon.

How Do You Measure Up
When your name gets called it is your turn to step on the scale and stand tall. What we really mean is that it is time to take your height and weight. After that, we test your muscle strength with our cool blood pressure cuff and record it on your report card.

The Picture Room
We have cool equipment that gives us xray vision of your teeth! Our picture machines will take some fast and easy shots of your teeth, allowing us to see all the way through them. Then, you can view them on the big screen with Dr. Gonzales and make sure no bugs are hiding within them.

Time to Shine
Dr. Gonzales will use a really bright light (almost as bright as the stars) to count all of your teeth in the exam room. You might have to put on some of the sunglasses at this point, but you will be looking awesome!

My, What BIG Teeth you have… the better to count them with!
One, two, three… Dr. Gonzales will tickle each of your teeth with her “tooth tickler” and count them out loud. Try not to laugh too much while she is checking to make sure all of your teeth are healthy, clean and happy.

You only have to brush the teeth you want to keep!
We have lots of fun tools we use to keep your teeth clean. Our Lightening McQueen motor will speed along your teeth will some great tasting toothpaste. Then we can use the squirt gun and vacuum cleaner to rinse it all away. We play music between each of your teeth with our violin string. At the end, we will paint your teeth with some “tooth polish” that tastes great and keeps them healthy – just like vitamins for your teeth.

One last thing before you go!
We will give you an Oral Health Report Card before you leave to let you know how everything looked inside. Then it is time to pick out a cool prize and see if you earned any “Star-Bucks” at your visit.
